Hello everyone😊 we are having terrible problems trying to get an appointment for our residencia renewal, trying everyday to get a cita" can i ask if anyone has just turned up at the police HQ and got an appointment? I know we have 3 months after its expiration to renew" but didnt realise it would effect our being able to access our bank account, if it had run out, any info would be usefull many thanks.

Don't just turn up, you'll be turned away. I've sent you a private message with a solution.

Just keep trying, it took me almost a week of trying at varying times of the day. I was told that certain times of the day were better to try than others, but that didn’t work for me. I think it was around 11am on a Tuesday morning when I finally accessed the page showing available appointments. I starting looking two weeks before the expiry date and my appointment was for four weeks later. It was then unbelievably easy to  folllow through to get my husband’s appointment , which is 30 minutes earlier than mine. Both appointments are at Alicante this week.
