I will become a tax resident in Spain this year. I'm looking for a tax advisor in Santa Pola to help me accurately forecast my tax liability for 2023 and be my all-round advisor for annual tax returns, etc. I'm happy to hop up to Gran Alcant/Alicante. I would be grateful for a name, number and/or link. Many thanks.

Thank you very much. I've walked past this place many times and didn't even notice the sign Gestoria - probably distracted by the aroma from the Churerría opposite! Thanks again.

You go upstairs to see her, she sits on the right, hope you get on ok, you won't need to do anything until you have been here 1 year

Thanks. I pass the 183 day mark in September, so I don't need to complete the tax return until next year, as you say. I'll pop in to say hello when I'm at the covered market to get the ball rolling, as I have a few other questions. Thanks again.

The time to go is about 2nd week of May until end of June, it's no good going until then as she hasn't got all the info for the year before. If you go, she will probably tell you what paperwork you need to take, always a bit more comp;icated the first time

good luck when you go

Actually, it's when you have been here 1 year, or it used to be before Brexit, I presume you are resident here

Only non resident tax, based on your property, unless you rent it out legally.

You say that the only thing mentioned is SUMA.   SUMA is the agency that collects the IBI (Impuesto sobre Bienes Inmuebles), similar to council tax in the UK, for the local town hall.   If you have an apartment in a block or a house on an urbanisation then you may also be responsible for paying a community fee.   You need to find out who is the President of the block and also who is the Community Administrator.
