Is there anywhere in Santa Pola that runs Spanish classes for us Brits who are trying to learn the language?

Hi Steve, we have just registered at the civic centre for the next beginners classes which commence in the middle of September. They also have classes for more advanced students if that's what you are looking for. Good luck and we may see you there. Regards, Russ

Good morning Deb,

If you walk through the castle from Glorieta the civic centre is approximately 3 streets further on. I can't remember the street but you can google the civic centre and it will give you the street name. The registration room is on the third floor. Russ

Hi Russ, what do you need to register, and how much are the lessons, if you don’t mind me asking? Thanks Lisa.

Hi Lisa,

It is 42 euros from September to Jan and another 42 euros from February to June. As there are 2 of us we got a 50% discount. The two course books were approximately 38 euros. We only registered for the first period as we want to see how it goes. We needed our passports and NIE's and they also asked for details of our health insurance but did say we could have registered without this. Regards, Russ

Thanks Russ, that’s really helpful, we will go and register. We are in the process of getting health insurance at the moment so that’s good news. 42 euros for the two of you for a term sounds good. Thanks again for your help, hopefully see you there.. lisa

Hi Lisa,

Yes hopefully we will see you there and we are likely to be at the back of the room wearing the dunces hat. Russ
