Hello to all on the forum😊 I am considering changing electric supply companies, presently with iberdrola" there are quite a few companies now to choose from and who will switch you over for free, so would like to hear from anyone who has done this please,  also while I'm on the subject" has anyone installed solar power and if so how does it work out? Please just looking at options 😃 thanking you in advance for any help👍

We were given a ballpark figure of 14k to install solar capable of running a central heating system in a 148 m2 detached villa and my only experience of being in a property with solar was that for my week's stay in the B&B we were running off a generator as the engineer was on site every day trying to get the solar to work!
There is a Jim's guide to utilities so it may be worth a read.

Hi. I wondered if you have found a more competitive electricity supplier yet? We started with Iberdrola in February this year in Santa Pola on what turned out to be a very high tariff. I recently challenged this with the Iberdrola rep in Carrefour who agreed it was very expensive! She signed us up for a revised, apparently cheaper tariff but I am waiting to see the result. Thinking of shopping around next year.

Hi I have not found an alternative as yet, but I am going to call in to Carrefour to speak with the rep and see what they say, let me know please how yours turns out.

Thank you Michael.
