The wholesale gas price fell sharply before Xmas, it has continued falling this year and is now at its lowest price since 2021, every consumer should be asking why these lower costs are not being passed on.

My last electricity bill was just over 41 euros for 28 days.

Diesel at our local garage is down to 1.27 a litre. My electricity bill has dropped considerably with the lowering of the IVA on it. Bottled gas prices were reduced by 5% under government orders. Gas companies providing electricity with companies no longer charge the consumer for the costs.

I think they might be doing a lot to reduce energy prices. Even some supermarkets are labelling goods as voluntary price cap.
