Extensive !  Originally bought house with 15 year old system - worked but would have required money spending on it so decided to replace with new system. ( had multiple issues to deal with on old system and learned a lot the hard way )

We run completely off grid house with loads of electric items , pool pump now on sun up to sundown , ac's for cooling if too hot and heat when chilly first thing in mornings ( main heat is pellet system ) .

We use between 13-20kw a day and normally batteries are at 100% at sundown , between 60-70% at sun up . As we have new system with Lithium batteries recharge is fast so usually at 100% by 10am -11am .

Complete system installed was 16k we also added commercial diesel generator 9kva for peace of mind another 6k ( overkill to be honest - used less than 20 hours in past year ) .

We also inherited a wind turbine installation that was broken - replacing that with worthwhile system has been a challenge and if I am honest probably not worth the effort as we really don't need it ! ( more boys n toys syndrome ! )

Although I invested quite a bit upfront I have to say we are delighted with the entire system , quality is excellent and it is completely automatic and does not require ANY touching by me - no batteries to water etc .

So personally I am a huge fan of solar - I love not having any electric bills !

Welcome to dm me any questions.

Good luck
