Another weak´s review
I got castigated on the forum early in the week, and so, whilst in the shower & trying a rendition from the musical “Oh what a lovely War” in a higher pitched voice, it got me thinking that my reference to movies in last week´s review probably got me into bother. I gave up as I received a call from the UK. A neighbour´s cousin, who´s friend, a barrister, called Cherie (daughter of a comedian) was considering legal proceedings on behalf of her Scottish, heterosexual catholic-converted husband called Anthony Charles Lynton (something or other), on the flimsy grounds of intimated hate-crime posted on the forum quote:
“Definitely! The boot of my Range Rover always contains a shovel, bin bags and rope! Send me Tony Blair and I’ll do the rest 😉”
I couldn´t find it. It´s probably been deleted. Anyway, I understand Cherie´s far too busy, tied up with conveyancing in Torrevieja.
I was also taken to task in last week´s review for not mentioning the meat.
Why are so many coastal dwellers suddenly looking for English butchers? (Early Bar-b-q season down there?) I´m surprised in this day & age of political correctness, the post has not been censored. No vegetarian forum moderators? And just a thought…..If we were meant to be vegetarians, Why are animals made out of meat?
On a serious note & in reference to previous posts & questions about gas bottles, I read the news today Oh Boy!
“Firefighters were reportedly called at 4.30pm (18 March) to the house in Torrevieja, which was ‘destroyed’ by ‘intense flames’, and found the 55-year-old with one of two butane cylinders in the kitchen on fire.” So, yes take care.
In conclusion, My Spanish friend had been working down on the coast up until the weekend & (not speaking English) bought his daughter a t-shirt with a logo thereon,
“tits like coconuts” & underneath, “sparrows like breadcrumbs”. It took a while to explain. I asked where he´d bought it. He said Torrevieja, near the butchers.
Again Happy father´s day.
