An over reaction? How exactly?
It is the principal that matters here. Why should i or anyone else have to opt out of a program in order to preserve their body after death? You may as well say that the state now owns your body (because parliament says so) and can do with it what they wish after your death unless you go through the process XYZ (or rather just x). How long before the X is removed and you have no say. It is opening a dangerous precedent under the guise of doing a bit of good.
And it's a disgrace to suggest that my body would be hacked to pieces John? How so? I have seen what care and treatment is given to the living and you expect me to think they would treat your dead corpse with respect? I think that is a hint of denial my friend.
I am not anti-donor but i am anti the establishment deciding what will happen to my organs after death. They have no flipping right to decide that. And i have to pay to opt out? Pfft. It's a unfunny joke is what it is.
