Compulsory organs donations - Page 3

Quite often it is the family of the deceased that try to block Organ Donation against the expressed will of the deceased.

Think you are seeing conspiracy theories where there are none.

People will not be starved to death and organs harvested. 

I hope that, as you will not help others in need of a transplant, by your  decision to opt out you, that you have also made another decision.

Do you expect to be able to  receive an organ from someone more generous should you ever be in the horrible situation that you need one?  

It would be perverse to deny others whilst expecting to receive yourself.

A few years ago, a well meanung relative died and donated her body to reasearch. This was in the UK. Approximately 2 to 3 years later, when these so called scientists had finished with the body, it was returned, un required to the family for final disposal with associated costs, unhappiness etc.,for a second time.

If you are an environmentalist, which I am not, the main cause of destruction of our planet is the overpopulatlion by human beings, aided by spare part surgery and doubtful medical practices to keep people alive longer and therefore to die a pitiful existence incapable of livi g kife to the full or bing mentally impaired.

For me I would rather live my life to the full as it was planned  and die intact in mind and body at an earlier time than being patched up by the quack medics.

Ah yes but is the charge the same when dialling from Spain on a mobile?

Either way, one should not have to opt out.

My grievance SMG is having to opt out when it should be opt out already. At the moment my rights to be opt out by default are being trampled on.

Maybe there would be more organs to go around if they stop handing them out to alcoholics (George best) etc.Now that's food for thought. 

Does it different when we pass on the organs, from free call from heaven & premium number from down below.

I am Spanish. You can be 100% sure you can opt out. In fact you before you die, or your direct family after dir, need to write down to agree before donate.

Thank you for letting me know that Spain has been harvesting organs for many years. I did not know this. As for young Spanish lady who claims that opting out the last minutes before death it is available in Spain, this is not a choice. I prefer the British way.  The choice is here to opt out and if people alienated themselves from what is going on, on daily basis, well it is a choice they have made unconsciously. The last minute I might pass away in a car accident or I might not be aware of life or death or any brain disease will make me not quite here the last minutes. 

What I have found valuable it is that we are discussing death without deviating from it because of fears. Our relationship with entering life and valuing it, must have the same value of exiting it when we have no use for it. So I am happy to have started a discussion which clearing us of the inevitability of  eventuality of death. When we relate to death without fears, our time is not wasted on petty behaviour with each other. So let us be happy and blessed with our lives now. Luna34

Just listen to your inner freedom and be connected with it, so you can let go and fly. When we empower others, we are the ones who let others interfere with our inner freedom. As a child I always thought if I become blind or they put me in prison, I can always write a book there. If they do not supply me with pen and paper, I can always write it in my mind.
