As I am away from a computer & in order to pass on the correct advice for an English speaking local Solicitor, I offered the enquirer to contact me in order to pass a link (when I have access to it)

(1) The advertiser does not advertise on this site &

(2) I believe Admin has advised others not to pass other´s telephone numbers/addresses etc on the open forum.(for good security)?

(3) I have a (private message) from Admin with advice regarding open advertising, which I am happy to copy/paste on this open forum should you wish.

That's interesting, Villas.  While I understand that businesses are not allowed self-promotion on this site, I've always believed that it's acceptable to share recommendations for businesses where they are based on personal experience?  If I've got that wrong, I'd better delete the recommendation I gave earlier today for the firm who painted our house - or report my own post to Alex, jajaja!

Recommendations for tradesman, restaurants and businesses are of course allowed if it is a genuine recommendation. Recommendations should be posted on the forum so everyone can see, not just those who asked the question otherwise this defeats the point of a forum. Private contact details can be provided separately in a PM if those contact details are not public.
