There are many, many hairdresser's in Sax. A mobile business might fit in. Villas.

Also you would probably have to work on a self employed basis. Which carries the obvious risks around continuity of work and the high costs of adnlministering being self employed.

Hi there
There might be a lot of hairdressers I’ve only seen a couple and they don’t speak English was even difficult booking an appt let alone what I wanted
😅👍There are at least 20. Four of them in our immediate family. English speaking?......... 😱. Good hunting. V.

Hi
I’m coming to Quesada February 4th and will need the services of a good hairdresser. Still trying to encourage my current one to visit every 6 weeks 😂

I opened up a small TV telecommunications company 10+ years ago, with a huge amount of competition. Everyone said 'too much competition, you'll be out of business in 6 months' - I'm not & have done quite well from it. My point being, whilst good to listen to useful advice - negative comments you will ALWAYS hear when doing anything yourself.
Don't get me wrong, if you said i've come over with 20k which is my entire life savings to open a bar, I would say something else entirely ;-)
Yes, you would technically need to go self-employed, but this can now be done to start off with, for €50-€70 a month & accountancy fees. Having said that (I am not condoning this), many who start on this path take cash initially & do not pay their social security - short term hmm, long term you want to be in the system - healthcare/pension.
Mobile may well be the way forward initially, as you have no premises costs/minimal startup expenses - you can network locally, there are plenty of local ladies facebook groups & other opportunities to meet and network. You could build yourself a little facebook page/website, do some marketing through that.
For example - you can place an advert on Facebook, with a targeted audience - women 35-80? within a 10km radius, an advert can be set to pop up on people's facebook newsfeed, that can get you in front of a few thousand people locally very easily & advertising wise - cheaper than you would think. Only one of many options.
Ultimately all women (and men who are not bald) need their hair cutting and looking after, so if you can get your name out locally - speak to people, do a little marketing - you don't need to spend a fortune. If you have a car or van, you could get some vinyl signage made, so a few avenues which coud be pursued
I'd say go for it, but then I would - I set up my first business at 19 ;-)
