I am looking for properties on line but all estate agents keep telling me is to be very careful as there are gypsies in many areas plus area which not to live in including Almoradi.

I have seen a property in Almoradi in the street below

Calle Colombia, 2, Almoradí, Alicante, Spain.

I would be extremely grateful if anyone knows of this street if you could advice on the area.

Also the area of The Royal Gardens Apartments.

Also which areas are to be avoided?

I've lived in Almoradi for the last 5 years and haven't had a problem with gipsies. I lived near the football stadium, Calle Colombia is off of the Orihuela Road and as far as I know it's okay. You have to make up your own mind, I recently moved to La Marina and was told it was very noisy which it isn't and it's full of Brits which it isn't, I have Spanish, French, German and British neighbours. I would certain recommend the area by the football stadium, its near to the town, shops, bars etc and near the countryside.

Thank you for the information.  Do you know of the Royal Gardens?

I don't but I asked a friend who said they're nice, near Mercadona so on the edge of town in a nice area, 10 minute walk from the centre of town.

I don't know which agent you're using but it might be an idea to have a look on Berna Diego's website, they're local and their prices seem lower than other agents.

Thank you for this information.  Do you know the name of the football stadium when I put it in, many stadiums come up.  Are the buses reliable?

It's in Calle Gaviotas. There's a bus station nearby, I used the bus a couple of times to go to Guardamar and it was fine, there aren't many a day but they do go to various places.
