Getting an NIE and residencia

Who is the best person to help us getting an NIE ? Do we need a lawyer ? Can a gestor do this for us ?

Yes, a gestor could get your NIE for you. If you are getting an NIE now as part of a residency application you will be issued with an NIE automatically within the process.

I suggest that you read Jim's Guides that can be found in the drop down menu on the left side of this page or the tab at the top of the page. Jim's Guides have all the information you need to know about living here legally in Spain.

At the top of thIs page, on the blue banner, you’ll see “Jim’s guides”. If you click in there, you’ll find various sub topics. Look for “Jim guides, a complete guide to Spain”. It’s the first one I think. He covers many topics and has been updating them very recently. The first on the list is NIE 🤪🥂
