Are your qualifications recognised in Spain? You may have to check on that. I would suggest your best bet is to contact all the care homes within your acceptable distance and ask. A reasonable command of Spanish would be required as most homes are run by Spanish speakers, most of the staff will be Spanish. They do of course cater to foreign residents also. There are quite a few around, it is a question of making enquiries.
The best known one, and the most costly, catering mainly to extranjeros is Casa Patricia just outside Benidorm. It is a large organisation, but would certainly be worth your while contacting, I believe it may be a Dutch organisation, but could be mistaken. It is certainly multilingual.
My mother resided in a small residencia in Calpe for some years, the residents were mainly British, but she spoke fluent Spanish, which endeared her to the staff. It has unfortunately now closed, for various reasons, none of which were due to the standard of care. There are several others there, one near Jesus Pobre, one in Benissa and so on.
Good luck.
