Nice area but not too much to choose from. San Javier perhaps offers more opportunities and. of course, Torrevieja, Can't tell as I live near Fortuna with a very well established multilingual expat community.

Ask at the Mail Room C. Albacete, 18, 03191 Torre de la Horadada, Alicante (It is run by a British family). They have so much information and I am sure they will point you in the right direction.

Have you asked in the Grumpy Goat, it’s the sort of bar that will hold all sorts of meetings and groups. Even if it doesn’t they or one of their regulars will point you in the right direction.
Try searching on Facebook, each area has a what’s on guide, to what’s happening.
What are your interests? There are plenty of groups around, so if you tell us what you’re looking for I’m sure someone will point you in the right direction
