It's here again folks. Another year, another Eurovision, another last place for UK ?
It seems unlikely as bookies make them second favourite. We shall see.

Quite the opposite in the UK, there are Eurovision parties everywhere.

Since when has it been about the music? It was great to see that the UK is no longer the whipping boy of Europe as France and Germany now appear to have taken over but a year is a long time in politics, we could be back down there next year. The merits of Spain's entry were obvious. Great to see Ukraine gave us 12 points. Sweden and Finland boosting each other over the UN and all kind of other biases which I couldn't totally keep up with as by the time I could see all the country votes they had already been included in the running total and it was just the 12 pointer to analyse.
The end result was that the public vote was totally behind Ukraine and rightly so, and who cares what the song was?

Any ‘European contest’ that has Australia as a competitor should only be a competition called ‘Geography for dummies’ !
The Eurovision has gone the way the majority of TV has gone in the past 20 years, down the pan.
