Hi Irish couple looking at buying a property in Costa Blanca and Torre de La Horadada and La Zenia have caught my eye. I know a few people who have houses in LZ and there seems to be a lot of Irish people living there. I don’t know the area so am not sure where to start looking. Just wondering if anyone can recommend a good real estate agent.  Would like to be able to walk to amenities but not to be bang in the middle of everything. Thanks

I  have same  aspirations  as  yourself,  but  would  not  use  just  1  agents,  Shop  around  use Internet,

Your  search    is  a  wide  area, Lots  of  Irish  and other  English  speaking  nationality   in LZ  Cabo  Roig   Playa Flamenca  Punta Prima    and father out,  San Miguel   and  Rojales   areas,

But  a  Golden Rule  online here is   Rent before  you  Buy,,  I  am in that  process  at the  moment

  Best  of Luck

Visit the area for a couple of weeks.  Try and stay in the type of property you would be buying to get a realistic idea of what it would be like.  Spend your time visiting the local shops and talking to locals, not doing touristy things.  You need to research the right area for you before actively looking for a property.

Try Homespana as they have offices in La Zenia and Los Dolses and they sell properties all around the Orihuela Costa. They are English speaking.

Agree with the others pop out and visit but in most of them area's there is a good Irish community.
