Hi,

I'm 17 weeks pregnant with a very precious pregnancy. Long story, but its a miracle I am pregnant. Everything is great and Midwife/Dr both say go on your holiday! Just being prepared for the worst, can someone please suggest my nearest Hospital, Health centre or DR (English speaking preferably) near Torremendo please? And any useful phone numbers should the worst happen and I need urgent care.

Thank you in advance.

Angela

There's a medical centre at Av. Orihuela Torr, 0, 03313 Torremendo, and the nearest hospital is the Vega Baja at San Bartolomé, just off the CV91.

If you do need to attend either, then you will need your EHIC & passport. If you're not fluent in Spanish, then there's no point in giving you telephone numbers.

Thank you for great advice.

Both my GP and Midwife have assured me there is no reason not to fly and I will be 20 weeks by then - I'm just being prepared.

Thanks again!!
