Can anyone give me an idea of how much Wi-Fi we would use each month. It’s just to watch TV through a fire stick. Hubby watches a lot of tv about 8 hours a day. TIA

Hi, depends on the video quality that you stream at but 8 hours of streaming per day will eat up a lot of data, if we said an average of 1 gig data for every hour of streaming then that's 8 gig per day or around 250 gig per month, if streaming in HD that figure would be more.

Hi, if he watches ITV over the internet then that is streaming, watching any TV or video over the internet is streaming.

Most internet providers here sell by speed, don’t think I’ve seen many with a download cap.

I just had fibre optic broadband installed 600mb speed. Plus English Freeview TV channels and radio stations.

90€ Install fee and €24.99 a month. Was a great service and cheaper than most places we looked

Vega Fibre is the company

https://elreydelafibra.com/

As you can't use the English apps (bbciplayer or ITVx and Channel4 etc) on the firestick in Spain, I now use free apps that show TV Shows and movies free including netflix and amazon shows etc. It saves me 100s a year.

Cinema HD is a good app to download on the firestick for that.

Good luck
