Good afternoon. After waiting 2 years for our tourism license we now need to obtain a plate that needs to displayed at our apartment and wondered if any of you can put me in contact with a company in the Torrevieja that can provide one. Also can any of you guide me to which Civil Gardia office in the Torrevieja aera I need to go to register my license.

Kind regards

Hi Bobbyboy,

Congratulations on getting your licence!

There's a member on this site, DaveBev1, who has written a brilliant set of guides about everything to do with the Tourist Licence and, ordinarily, I would point you in the direction of their guides.  However, as your question is so specific - and unless another member is able to answer it - it may be quicker to send a Private Message with your query direct to DaveBev1.

Kind regards,

Kim

A lot of the smaller DIY shops do the signs.  It is a preset template and your own license number added and needs to be displayed by the main entrance to the property. We used the ferretaria in La Florida.

Sorry, I am not sure where the Guardia Civil offices are in Torrevieja.

Hi Thank you for coming back to me. I will check out ferretaria a little later. Your information is much appreciated.

Any one out there has info on what we can claim when doing the tax on renting, I have heard you can't claim on a lot of things because of Brexit.

If you are a non-EU resident then the tax is 24% on the gross rental (ie no deductions/allowances permitted).  Yes, direct consequence for Brits of brexit.  EU citizens pay 19% after allowable deductions.  Tax for non-residents needs to be declared quarterly and tax due paid immediately.
