NIE number advice

Ref the NIE, just search this forum - I'm sure there's all the information you need. In a nutshell:

Download an EX-15 and fill it in:

Make an appointment at your nearest national police station - which I'd guess would be one of those in Alicante.

You can even do the 790 payment form online:

I tried several times to get an now online and failed. Maybe I just need to improve my spanish. 

If you are struggling which i was, i ended up asking a guy called Alex Oleon [email protected] to help me. It cost 100 euros but saved me a lot of grief.

It's easier to get a soliciter all we needed was 2 photos of each of us and our passport,plus the 100€ fee each.............the 100€ includedthe cost of our NIE,s to.

I need to get an NIE Number. I am non resident. I have inherited an apartment, but it is not in my name. I think I need an NIE to get the water and electric in my name and set up a bank account. If this is the case Id like to engage you to process it for me. Im over in Cabo Cervera next week from 26/5 for 5 days. If you can help please let me know.

We are going over in May to look at some properties as a holiday home . was thinking it maybe worthwhile applying for the NIE whilst we are there. I’ve download the forms ready to print off and fill in.

1. Can I book an appointment at the police station whilst there ?

2. What address do you put in the form when it asks for Spanish address ?

3. Do you pay at a bank with the 790 form before you go to police appointment ?

That answers your questions. 

You must have an appointment.

It's a lot easier to get an NIE in the UK.

Use your UK address.

You must have paid the fee before the appointment.

You have lots of good info. but at present how long is it taking to applying by abogado in Alicante province for a date or is it a long delay of perhaps many weeks.Are property sales to British nationals being held up due to Brexit?
