In addition to the info on the posts we and others have done about obtaining a license, we personally would never use airbnb or similar sites. They charge the owner to advertise, then charge the renter a booking fee, collect the rent at sit on it until after the renter arrives and then deduct fees for paying the rent out to the owner! They also restrict the amount of contact you have with the renters and encourage you to accept bookings without any vetting of the guests. They are not interested in the owners or the renters, it wasn't their original purpose.
If you do want to rent out then use sites set up for property owners, such as Spain-holiday.com (pay to advertise and no booking fees for the renters) or homeaway.co.uk (pay to advertise or you can get a free listing and you do not have to use their instant booking option) - they will allow direct contact and do not hold onto your rental income. They relay on giving a good service to both owners and renters and have well established systems and sites geared to holiday letting by private owners. There are several others too. This forum also has an advertising option.
You mention 'old furniture' - sorry but you have to have decent standards if you want a successful let with guests who recommend your property and book to stay again. You could (sadly) get away with letting a property that is not properly equipped in the past, but shouldn't now. There are requirements regarding equipment as well as room sizes and the numbers who can stay to get a license. Check out the rules, but holiday letting is a serious and business and you need to take pride in what you do. Don't forget you need letting insurance for public liability too. use a person who is working legally in Spain for your keyholding too.
Please do not be tempted to advertise or let the property without a license - the fines are huge. No reputable site can take your ad without a number and even advertising on your own private facebook page, or on cards in shop windows, is illegal if you do not display your license number.
If you do decide to rent out the property you will not get your license through in time for this summer season unfortunately. However that gives you time to do all the preparations - but before you start the process check the size of your bathroom(s) - the main bathroom needs to be 4.5m2 and many apartment bathrooms are a lot smaller unfortunately. (Other room size requirements too, the info is in our 6 part post.)
Good luck, and enjoy your new home whether you let it or not.
