Hi, Could you please advise if I can drive from Torrevieja to Alicante Airport on Sunday. My partner is going back to UK and I would like to give him a lift. He wouldn't mind to use a bus service however they only operate from 11am and its too late. Look forward to hearing from you. Ta!

The airport operator doesn't say anything about driving to the aiport, however only passengers may enter the terminal. Preferrably use the "Express Parking" for drop-off

Check the latest information on the N332 Facebook page.   I believe that Torrevieja is one of the closed towns from 3 p.m. on Fridays to 6 a.m. on Mondays as follows:   15 municipalities with more than 50,000 inhabitants, including ORIHUELA, are confined during weekends and public holidays until midnight on the 1st March 2021.

Hello

No, I'm afraid you cant drive to the airport, on a Sunday as the Torrevieja boundaries ( and the Elche boundaries) are closed, as stated by another poster - 3pm Fri - 6am Mon,.  Your husband can travel by taxi as they are exempt from the exclusion, Torrevieja Radio Taxis provide a great door to door airport serviice for a  fixed rate fee

of €50.....Here is a link if you want to book in advance..........

Hi Bibba,

Thank you for your information. We have traveled today morning, from Torretas via CV905, then via Autopista to the airport. There was no Guardia on the way out (San Luis roundabout) and we had a quiet journey. On my way back (around 10am), I was stopped by Guardia (San Luis roundabout), I've presented my Padron and my partner's boarding pass, was asked to confirm where I lived and where I was coming from.

I've only decided to take my partner to the airport today after questioning Guardia on Friday's evening and then again on Saturday (San Luis roundabout), wanted to make sure if it'd be OK to give a lift. Both time they said yes.
