Judging by the amount of Spanish who carry little dogs on buses, in bags, in their arms etc one would think so.

However, dogs under 10kg are allowed in a carrier on buses in Spain.

I have never seen one on the buses in Valencia city or suburbs..

Easy to get an answer - ask the bus driver at a bus stop or if you know the name of the company - look at the website..

Don't think I've been on a bus in Torrevieja where someone doesn't have a dog. However, the rules are under 10kg in a carrier. But it will be at the driver's discretion if not in a carrier.

On the other hand, I'd sign a petition banning people from taking dogs to markets.

Well done but I'm glad no-one considered taking any notice.

We thought we would be able to take a bus to the Habaneras area from San Luis with a young cat in a carrier but the driver said a definite NO.  So we had no choice but to call a taxi.
