Very anxious moving to Spain with my two lovely Giant Schnauzers. Concerned about the heat for them. Also need to find a person to stay with the boys while we go to work. Prices for dog sitters. Any useful hits and tips please

More important than the heat are the quite strict regulations concerning dogs weighing over 55 lbs. You will need to pass an exam proving you are qualified to adecuarely handle "dangerous animals". You will also need mandatory liability insurance cover and include your animals in a special register. Get details from your council (Dept. Zoonosis).

Morning Killjoy, would this also apply to anyone else walking the dogs?
Hi there, I know it may seem a stupid question, but have you actually got work lined up as the unemployment situation here is dire?
i would strongly advise you to checkout Spanish law on dogs. It’s even illegal to walk your dog without a leash in spain, but if your dogs are over 20kgs there is a lot you need to know before you make the move. Doggie daycare is around 10 euros per dog a day. Good luck
