Looking at the comments by people who have tried to use this beach ,it’s dangerous and not fit for purpose. Not fit for humans or the dogs they love .

Dogs are not allowed on beaches, but its not enforced and dog owners have them on and off leads on beaches every day at playas Acequion and Los Naufragos. The Spanish stick their noses up at all laws/ Look how they park on zebra crossings, ignore traffice lights and droo down curbs to make it more difficult for disabled people. I think the sun must have gone to their heads?

If you go down to La Mata beach after 7.00/8.00pm after everyone has gone home in high season or before they start going to the beach in the morning you can swim away to your hearts content. Off season there won't be many people on the stretch called Los Europeas on weekdays.
