Hi

having had several of these lovely little beings :) in UK and since relocating missing having them around, we are looking to get a couple of family member Shi Tzus (maybe one to start depending on price).

It does appear that the main selling pos here is Pet shops, but i still a little phased out by this and would prefer to see parents and home life etc before buying as its what im used to !

Does anyone in the Torrevieja area breed and or have or know of any Shi Tzu puppies for sale and almost ready or ready to go please as i have all the time in the world and space to give these a loving home...

Not looking for best of breed, or Imperial that are the smallest in the world, just good pedigree dogs from a decent environment

thanks in advance

We have 2 shih tzu. They are both male and are 2 years old now. We paid 600 euros for one and bought him in Molina del Segura, Murcia, we were shown pictures of him, we did meet the breeder when we collected him, we went with him to the vets so he could have the last of his injections and a check over to make sure everything was ok. We weren't allowed to have him until he was 12 weeks old.

A couple of weeks after we got Oscar we went to villena and there in a pet shop we saw Buster looking very sorry for himself all alone so we bought him for 550 euros. A week later he became very sick we  took him to our vets and they admitted him to hospital straight away with parvo, luckily he pulled through, when we contacted the store they weren't interested. But it was very heart breaking, so beware of shops.

If you go on the internet and tap in milanuncios.com it's a classified ads website there are several breeders advertise on there and say you can go and see. The only problem is if you don't speak spanish phoning is a bit difficult.

I hope you find what you are looking for, they are gorgeous dogs

Morning LeeH1969

I’m sure there is a Spanish kennel club you might contact, although I suppose language might be a difficulty unless you are a fluent Spanish speaker (I’m not). They would probably be able to put you in touch with a reputable breeder

Another shot in the dark, look at the list of breeders in the U.K., registered with the Kennel club. Some of the “top” breeders may well show internationally and have contacts in Spain.

I have seen one member of the forum that breeds, or did breed, dogs. Hopefully he/she will see your post and be able to add something that might help

Sounds like two little dogs are in for a lovely new life withyou

Good luck 🤪🥂
