Hi

I have a non residents bank account with Sabadell, they have just introduced a quarterly

charge of 30 euros which has gone up to 35 euros

Does anyone know any other bank which has no bank charges or at least cheaper than

Sabadell?

Thanks

Darrel

Good morning

If you have a set amount going in to Sabadel every month,we pay €700 as a couple there is no charge 😀

Is the bankinter online service good?

for checking balances and transferring money, did they organise your transfer of direct debits for you?

The online banking is in my opinion better than Sabadell, the dd's and so's were mainly done by myself to be fair.

Hello. Thankfully I have been able to change all my payments to my Irish Bank account in recent months.. Suma, Iberdrola Agamed etc..Closing my account in December. Bye Bye Sabadell you are far too expensive for me and the small amount of money I put through my account in a year..Thanks to the EURO international banking is so easier.

Ogils .... that is very helpful. My husband and I will be completing on a purchase in January, so now it sounds like a better option to use our Irish bank for all associated payments. Are there any payments you cannot make this way?

Thanks

I have managed to change all except my non residents tax which you cannot do, but if you fill in the form for it you can pay direct at the bank each year,

I have not done it this as yet, currently I transfer payment to my solicitors account and they pay it.

Hi, We have had this conversation before, do not forget we are answering people who are non residents, i do not understand your conveniance argument, i have all my utilities delivered online, i then pay them via my Halifax Clarity card with no FX fees, i have a Santander account in U K which allo...

...ws me to withdraw cash in Spain with no FX fees so why would anyone want a Spanish bank account that charges a quarterly fee and on top of this charge FX fees, to me it is an absolute no brainer, believe me doing it my way saves me in the region of £400 to £500 a year, i appreciate if you are resident in Spain and not in U K you cannot have a U K bank account but as i previously said we are advising people who are non residents

I tried to establish internet service yesterday and a Spanish bank is required.how do you get around that?
