Hi Sue was your original offer made in Pounds Sterling ,or was it made in Euros ,as a small increase in the echange rate can have a fairly noticeable effect on a final Property purchase price.
Looking forward to hearing back when you have had official confirmation as to the exact nature of the difference.

When you pay the deposit they will remove this figure to show the rest of the amount left to pay.
66k property less 6k deposit will show as 60k

Hi Sue I can see your getting bombarded with replies to your question. So I will give you my statement which I received from our Spanish solicitor who we still use 5 years later. We paid 85, ooo euros and the purchase price was put down to 82,000 ? Your other replies have probably explained why as we didn't know either. Anyway good luck and don't worry.

Hi Wayne,well we hoping to hear back from solicitor today,Nothing,it states on our contract the amount we are supposed to pay but had this email a few days ago stating another price for the property,I will be emailing again tomorrow hoping for a reply!! Will post again as soon as I hear anything.Thanks again
