Hi

You will have to change the DDs yourself, but these days its easy if you have online access to your suppliers. Logon to the supplier and simply change your bank details. Although, In my case, Hidraqua are still living in the Stone Age, paper required (last time I looked)

Cheers

Steve

Steve2x can you help me please. I too have set up a Wise account. Now I am trying to transfer my DD to this account. When I enter the Iberdrola site and try to access the client area I am requested to enter my NIE number. However it tells me that they don't have a client with this NIE number. I only have one number and they have been billing me at my address using my name on the bills for 16 years. Did you experience anything similar and how did you resolve it. If you didn't experience it can you offer any suggestions as to how I can resolve it.

Hi Care4

Have you firstly registered on the Web site, using your NIE, and chosen a password?

It sounds like it's the website that doesn't recognise you, rather than the company itself.

Hope that helps!

Steve

Thanks for replying so quickly Steve. I have tried to register. When I input my NIE number it tells me that they have no clients with this number. I have now sent an email to Iberdrola explaining the circumstances and asking for help. So frustrating trying to do this from the UK.

I'm in the process of changing my direct debits from Sabadell to Revolut. You have to do it yourself.  It's not difficult once you get started on it although I notice that some companies are slower than others.  The last straw for me with Sabadell was 55euro for last quarters fees.

Thank you for info.
