Totally incorrect....
Receiving IPTV from a properly licensed streaming provider i.e Legitimate IPTV providers such as YouTube, Hulu, Amazon, Netflix etc are all fully legal. It's the dodgy providers that are illegal. Please get your facts right before posting incorrectly.....

Using IPTV subscriptions that offer channels, movies, or sports without a license
Using M3U lists or Kodi builds that stream copyrighted material
Buying IPTV boxes that come preloaded with illegal streams

Nigh on seemingly everyone apart from you knows what is really meant when someone talks about IPTV.
And law enforcement across the EU pretty much everywhere targets the distributors as opposed to the end user. Even the recent court ruling in Spain isn't likely to bring about end user fines any time soon. - if ever.
Not that that in anyway excuses illegal IPTV usage.

No longer the case in Ireland. The police have shut down and prosecuted numerous providers of “dodgy” boxes. Following a court case, Revolut were ordered to hand over the contact details of individuals who made payments to the box providers. These end users have since received legal correspondence warning them to cease and desist.
