Upgrading Firmware for Nokia Mobile.

Does anyone know where I can get the firmware upgraded on an old Nokia mobile phone. I have been searching for the firmware for over 5 years and have finally got a copy from a guy on the main GSM site worldwide. He had just seen my old request!! There is a dedicated USF cable which is still readily available to enable data interchange between the phone and the programming tool. which I will get if necessary.

There was a mobile repair guy near Mercadona in San Luis who was willing to do it if I found the firmware, unfortunately he is no longer there.

Fingers crossed.

Thanks, I had not noted the blue type as URL info. Duh!

The Nokia is quite rare and with case etc. and the comments do not exactly inspire confidence.

He was always very helpful in the shop, and you could always try asking if the poster had any joy in the end.
