Hello Terry

They were renewed last year, I took mine into the new location in the indoor fruit/veg market on  Friday 14th Aug & got it renewed immediately. 2 friends of mine have got 1st time Citizens Cards(bus passes) in January this year so I know its open.

Cheers

Is an appointment needed? Or can I just call in with up to date padrón and bus pass?

Hello Annie

It seems to depend how busy they are, my renewal was instant, I would just call in and he'll tell you if you need to come  back. Take what you need ( I only had passport with me)  I think newcomers need all their documents but for renewals you're already on the system.

Cheers

Thanks so much, El. By the way, I also live in La Mata. I’ll take the bus into town one of these days and renew my pass. It’s still working OK although it’s 18 months since I last renewed it.

It was on Thursday 18th February when I last used my bus pass and had no problems. I had other payment methods ready just in case! Ticket showed no expiry date which is presumably how it didn’t reject.
