Hi everyone
I just wondered if you all new about this new bus service fro Murcia Airport
It has 3 routes
To and from San Juan, La Manga & Torrevieja
They offer routes to and from the airport and aim to cover every flight
You book via an easy to use platform on
AIRPORTBUS.ES
There are several stopping points along the journey and I was picked up in El Galan and was at the airport in 45 minutes + great value
Helpful and friendly driver I will definitely use them again

It seems to be building up nicely since it started in May.
They only had 1 bus covering everywhere, which meant that going to Torrevieja could take up to 3.5 hours, depending on number of stops.
Looks like business is picking up, hence the extra buses.
Another option over Alicante airport is no bad thing.

Time will tell but the route still seems to have the same amount of stops on it. Bus still says 3hrs and car/taxi 45 mins. Maybe they will have a different bus route to Torrevieja.

If you click into the route and show on map, the the time shows as 2hour and 5 min to La Mata but again it does depend on stops.

Thanks for your reply
I got on at stop 8 at Costa cars
There were only 3 people on the bus and after I got on there were no further pick ups hence why it only took 45 mins
But at 19€ a real bargain
Your right that it started in May but it will be interesting when it starts up again in 2026 as my understanding is it shuts down over winter

Maybe I was just lucky
But it’s really good for me as my sister lives in Camposol not far from the airport
I did talk to one of the passengers and she said it was the third time she has used it so I don’t think she would have persisted if it took 4-5 hours

I suppose as it's prebooked the driver will only cover the stops booked so you could be lucky on a day with only a few stops but unlucky on a day where there are a lot of stops.
Tony I haven't seen a stop for La Mata only Torrevieja.
