My bus pass expires on the 16th April as that is when I got it in 2019.  However, when I went into the usual place to get it sorted or at least get the form so I could pay at the bank and make an appointment  today it wasn't possible.  There was no one on the desk that deals with this just a notice in Spanish.  It takes me awhile to read and translate Spanish but I never even got the chance.  A man came at me waving his arms and telling me to get back as if I had crossed an invisible line.  I had written down what I actually needed and showed it to him at arms length which he read but staying as far away from me as possible.  His response was to shout Nada, Nada, and wave his arms.  Obviously this is all about the Coronavirus but does this mean they are not issuing any bus passes at the moment??  Or not being able to read the notice, was it closed for another reason?

Hi Stormy1,

The Spanish government has announced that Spain is now in a "State of Alert" - our Town Hall in Formentera del Segura closed today and I would expect many others to be doing the same:

The Spanish government has said it will release more information about what this means for citizens tomorrow.

Kind regards,

Kim

Getting a bus pass will be pointless now as there won’t be any buses running - I’d put this task way down on your list of priorities for the time being !
