Please dont imply that all dog owners are all the same. I own a dog and mine and myself are not in the group you are pointing out. Not all dog owners are the same. My dog is as clean as you !

Hello

It's not the cleanliness of a dog that is in question, it's the integrity & responsibility of the owners - which impacts on everyone else!

Cheers

That's not what was said. I quote 'the owners leave it messy'.

In your case do not assume all owners are the same

Also I see tebo53 is listed as Benidorm. Are they sure its dogs urinating in the lifts. After all I ve seen a lot of the visitors to Benidorm.

I can assure you that it is some owners of dogs that do not clean up after their dogs have messed on pavements!! The dogs themselves can't do it can they?

As for the lift here in Benidorm, I live in a residential apartment block and got in the lift as a resident with a dog got out........got pee on the floor. Don't assume that Benidorm residents are all party animals who pee all over!!!!!!!

Why not. That's what you are doing. 'All dog owners are irresponsible.

Some definitely are, but the OP was questioning if her, most likely small pampered' dog is allowed on a bus. You implied that no dog should be allowed on buses because they are all dirty, defecate, urinate everywhere and their owners dont clean them. My dog in summer is showered every day to cool her down and visits the groomer every 6 weeks. I wouldnt take her on the bus because I have a car, not because of your perceived reason as to why she should not be allowed on there.

As for the lift, I would suggest you contact the president of the community and voice your concerns.

Quite simply.....

The bus and taxi companies have reasons why they don't allow dogs in their buses and cars. Their reasons are probably the same as mine....

Concur. Dogs ( & other animals) by instinct "mark" their "spot" & their route, be it be a lift or transport, not to mention parasites naturally attracted to such animals cleaned by their human hosts or not. V

In my previous job working in council houses on contracts. I've seen more parasites (fleas) in humans houses (without animals) than on any of my pets.

Not all pets run wild, as I'm sure the dog belonging to th OP doesnt.

Thank you for your clarification.  As an (ex) government dog trainer with (limited) veterinarian instruction & personally experienced human contact with parasitic worms, ticks, feces etc. I found your quote "absolute rubbish" rather inconclusive. But thanks for your input. V
