No I don't have a dog as I don't have time to look after one properly.  Owners of dogs here let them mess on pavements and not clean up. The back streets are a complete mess. I've entered the lift in our building after dogs have had a pee,  the owners leave it!!! I don't want a dog on m...

I'm sure that not the case off this lady don't tarr all dog owners the same. That's like me saying can you please not take your snotty sticky wane on a bus. Wane is Glasgow for child. And believe me my wee dog is 100 cleaner than half the wanes here

Well said. My sentiments exactly, Infact if she came on my bus I'd even let her dog sit on my knee if she allowed it and there was no room. I'd rather have a dog than a screaming brat of a kid next to me.

Dog owners all stick together about how clean their dogs are!!

However.....there are multi billion pound companies out there and very expensive veterinary services everywhere making millions every week selling flee collars, treatments and specialist shampoos etc to help keep said dogs clean but those owners who cannot hardly look after themselves don't part with money for such treatments but would love dearly to travel into town on a bus!! Now would that be fair to the dogless travelling public? I don't think so.....

Well Steve. You just replied to your own comment. That's why these companies make millions/billions. Responsible owners who take care of their pets, money no object. After all they are a lifelong commitment and part of the family.

That doesn't solve the problem of owners wanting to take their pooches, clean or otherwise onto public transport.

Just by washing your dog everyday, which I imagine will be very few owners, does not cure dog disease (especially gut problems that end up on pavements) and that is why dogs often wear flee collars. You may be one of the very, very few who keeps their pets exceptionally clean but you are definitely in the minority.

Quite simply.....

The bus and taxi companies have reasons why they don't allow dogs in their buses and cars. Their reasons are probably the same as mine....

Steve

I hope I never meet a person like you when I move to Spain .

The reason most travel companies do not allow dogs is because of humans with allergies.

Ok Steve. We all get that you dont have a dog and dont like dogs. However your comments are voicing your opinion and not everyone else's.

I think all your comments are ridiculous but I guess you will always get a Victor Meldrew opinion. The good thing is some third world countries are now educating children to respect dogs and animals and not have views like you. I guess it is to late for someone your age to change but hopefully the next generation will.
