Does any of this make sense to you Rach67?
You will enter your code on the official FNMT website in the certificate download section, ensuring you use the exact same computer and browser you used to initiate the application. Step-by-Step Guide- Return to the FNMT website: Go to the official Fábrica Nacional de Moneda y Timbre (FNMT) portal.
- Navigate to the download page: Go to Certificados > Persona Física > Obtener Certificado Software > Descargar Certificado.
- Enter your details: Fill in your NIF/NIE, your first surname, and paste the request code you received by email or SMS.
- Accept conditions and download: Click the link to consult the conditions of use, accept them, and then click "Descargar Certificado" (Download Certificate).
- Device Consistency: You must download and install the certificate on the exact same device and browser from which you requested it.
- Browser Recommendation: Many users find that Mozilla Firefox is the most reliable browser for this step in Spain.
- Backup: Once the certificate downloads and installs, it is highly recommended to export a backup copy (and set a password for it) so you can transfer it to your phone or other devices later.

Bee2 - it's an ACCV certificate - not FNMT.
Rach67 - I can't see the link you're trying to open, but try this if it's different:

Thank you Feenix1950. I don't have a digital signature so wasn't aware there were 2 types even. Perhaps the Office in the Ayuntamiento will help sort it out. I see posts on the Quesada Forum saying the Town Hall did everything for them.
