Dear All,

I have just heard that The Spanish Government are going to implement another travel requirement in entering Spain by air or sea,

Apparently coming into force on the 23/11/20

That you the traveller will have to have

PCR Covid test to a maximum of 72 Hrs

Before travel.

Private tests in the UK vary from £95 to £130, depending on providers.

Has anyone else seen this?

David

Thanks,

I had not seen it. There is nothing on the UK Foreign office website

I think it will kill the tourist industry off

No one will bother going to Spain as it’s another complication to the process.

The Covid figures also do not seem to be

Improving either.

Thanks for the info

Hopefully things will improve where they

will relax that rule. The tourism industry will

be killed off completely as no one will want to go to Spain as it is too complicated to do.

I was going back to the Uk for a few days before Christmas, but this new requirement makes the trip very problematic.

From what I’ve read, private tests are taking 3 days to come back with the result ... and the test needs to be taken within 72 hrs (3 days) of arrival into Spain.

Is anyone aware of how a trip can be achievable? I don’t want to get stuck in the Uk!

It may be better uf you can stay in Spain.

As far as I can see it is very problematic.

You cannot use an NHS test as it will

not be accepted, so private ones are

Anything between £95 to £150

You can only do it to max 72 hrs before travel. If you do all that and flights booked etc and the flight iOS cancelled, you have to

do it all over again. Very costly and not only adds the complications of it, but almost

is not practical.

I was just looking at some flights in January

and some of the prices are very high, not all

But some are.
