Hey everyone,

I know this topic has been asked previously but I'm not sure if any of the mask wearing requirements have changed recently.

I just wondered if anyone could give me a full breakdown of the current mask wearing rules for adults and a 10 year old in Torrevieja?

Any other details about other current restrictions would also be really helpful :)

Thank you in advance

Open space where social distance can be maintained no mask, shops supermarkets wear mask, in bars restaurants only need to wear when entering or visiting toilet and exiting

Hello

Also - masks are required on  buses and in  taxis, hairdressers &, Health Centres.

Cheers

Thanks alot appreciate that. So if you're just walking around outside or if you're on the beach for example you don't have to wear one?

Do you also know what the self isolation rules are there? If for example I went for my pre departure test and it came back positive, what's the length of time you have to isolate for? I'll be staying at my mother in law's apartment while I'm there so I assume the self isolation would be done there?

Thanks alot for your help

Hi scott1983,

If you´re still in the UK and your pre-departure test came back positive, you wouldn´t be allowed to board a plane.  Requirements for entry to Spain can be found here:

Kind regards,

Kim

Sorry I meant my pre departure test I'd take in Spain before returning to the UK. I have had both vaccinations here in the UK so I don't need to test to fly over to Spain.

You are required to wear a mask when you are outside if you can't maintain the social distancing rules.

Hi, can someone please confirm whether all masks are acceptable or do they need to be clinical masks as opposed to home made?  Thank you in advance.

You are ok with any style of mask as long as it covers nose and mouth. No need to be the clinical type.
