Morning all
I know so many people have asked the same question PCR or Antigen for flying back to UK.
Has anyone flown by Ryanair back to UK after 4th August with Antigen test?
Thanks

Hi Anika,
Yes my very good friend arrived back yesterday on Ryanair with the Antigen test from Spain and had no problems, the Pcr test suggested by minister Shapps is only advice so the Antigen test is still accepted, of which I will be taking when I come back to the UK next month.
Regards
Mick

Hi, I’m flying to la Mata in two weeks and am looking for somewhere to buy the antigen test. What I don’t understand is that someone said I need to do it two days before leaving Spain then again a few days later once I’m home in the Uk. Does that mean I have to find somewhere in the Uk to do the second test or does it come supplied with the first test? Are the results emailed to me? How do I get the results and do I have to report the results to anyone? Sorry for all the questions lol.

Hi Katymay, yes you book an Antigen test 2 days before leaving Spain, we booked the IMED centre in Habernaros shopping area Torrevieja, next to the bowling centre €40 euros ( although I've heard the Spanish government has put a cap on the testing price so it may be cheaper), the results are sent to you by text 20 minutes later and if you wait for the results you can also get a printed result test to take away with you, then you book a PCR test ( separately, not associated with the Spanish Antigen test) back in the Uk either to go personally to a testing centre or arrange a posted test taken at home and you post you're test back to the company. They then email you the results within 24 hours.
I hope that helps you.

Mick

There is a DAM health centre in Torreviega where you can get tested. We booked there last month but they had a flood so we had to go to the one in Alicante. There is also one in Murcia. It cost €39. Easy to book on line.
In UK have used testingforall - now just day 2 test if double jabbed. Have to book it separately on line. They post the test pack and you return it by post. Used them several times and no issues.
We're back on 1 September for 3 weeks. Can't wait.

Forgot to say. Each testingforall test has a unique ID. I think the results are forwarded to appropriate govt agency. You receive the results via email and no need to do anything else - assuming its negative. I assume the same for other providers.
Test in Spain has to be within 3 days of return. Our results last month came same day. You show check in staff the email result and the booking for the UK test.
Don't forgey the passenger location form. A number of people were trying to fill in theirs at the airport with difficulties. Not sure if they made the flight.
