Very unfair on those people that wish to travel but have not had the opportunity to be vaccinated. This would be ageist as most countries are offering the elderly vaccines first.

Assuming you are travelling from the UK?

The UK government may or may not introduce a vaccine passport but there is no guarantee Spain will acknowledge it. Despite quite a lot of internal arguments, the Spanish government are not keen to open the borders to leisure travellers any time soon. I've been ignoring the news lately so things might change but the last time I paid any attention Sanchez was saying not until 70% vaccinated. Which will be quite a lot of months yet. The foreign minister is pushing for opening up asap, but Sanchez remains reluctant, at least the last time I paid attention he was. Things may be different now.

The other thing to consider is what you will be coming to. Masks, curfews, restrictions, etc. It's not the most pleasant place to be right now. I've friends wanting to come out but have suggest to wait until September when hopefully things will be better.

The elderly are the ones being offered the vaccine first because they are the ones at greatest risk of dying from covid. I don't think governments considered overseas travel when they decided the priorities for vaccination.

They are the ones that don't travel and those of us that want to get back to uk to see family are going to be disadvantaged as Spain are so far behind with the vacine rollout. If I was in the UK I would have had my jab and would be able to have a vacine passport. So it will cost me lots of money on quarentining and pcr tests to visit family in the uk.

I do sympathise but the fact is that older people are at a greater risk of dying It is right (in my opinion) that those at the most risk get priority. If the older person was one of your parents I am sure you would want them vaccinated

Spain seem to be pushing ahead quite well now with vaccinations so by the time travel opens up again you may have had your vaccine anyhow. I have not seen any details on how being vaccinated will affect travel, maybe testing will still be a requirement.

Agree, I'm in the forgotten 65-69 age group, so any hope that I will be able to get back to the UK to see my family is disappearing over the horizon with it's a*se on fire.

Nothing stopping you travelling is there ?

Yes it will cost you more money than    normal to have the relevant tests

As others have said priority to those more vulnerable
