I live near Plymouth but journey time is not much different if I get le shuttle train which is great. Done that before!

Any ideas on best route?

Would like to avoid tolls where possible thanks

If you live in Plymouth why not get the ferry to Santander/Bilbao. Approx 9hrs drive with a stop to Torrevieja, and no tolls. Money saved on fuel and tolls pays for the more expensive ferry.

Thanks.

Any difference between Bilbao or Santander?

Thanks Andrew.

I will go with that.

Nine hours drive sounds better than twenty three!!
