That's the norm. Unless you pay for their over inflated insurance.  Put the deposit on you card. Then buy the insurance online. Then if you  damage the car . They charge your card, then claim it back on the insurance

Approx €15/day they do airport transfers also. Their cars are not the newest. 

I have been looking for a decent car hire company. I have come across Bravohire who claim to not take a large deposit or block your Credit card for a large amount . 

I am however sceptical, the claim to have a thing called smart insurance, so I would like to know of anyone who has used them ?.

I did get a quote for 5 days hire which came back at around 95 euros, then there is a fuel charge, add the smart insurance at approx 25 euros per day then the out of hours charge (arrival after 2300 hrs) at Alicante Airport. 

When I totalled it all up it came to around 320 euros, but the fuel would be refunded if the car is brought back with a full tank,

Anyone had any experience booking through Bravo car hire ?

I usually pay about 12euros per day via Holiday Autos. Usually GC or FF

I always go full full and refuse any extras including their insurance and also refuse  the insurance offered by the car hire company at the desk

I purchase an annual car hire excess policy with Icarhireinsurance costs me £35 per year.

I put the deposit on my credit card. Usually 1200e. Any damage costs charge to the card then the insurance pays you back.

Never never purchase any insurance package from the car hire company. The example above confirms this. They have been quoted 25e per day whereas I am paying 35e for the full year. I hire a car about 8 times per year.

They will give you an all inclusive quote, which includes no insurance excess, CDW, unlimited mileage and additional drivers - all for the one cost - no hidden extras! Part of the cost also includes airport pick-up and drop-off

They will pick you up from the airport, then take you to their premises at Torrevieja, where you will pick up the car. Once the hire period is complete, you take the car back to them, and a driver will then take you to the airport. Their cars aren’t brand spankers, but are certainly good enough for holiday and short term use. Let them know that they have been highlyy recommended by Steve & Sue from Playa Flamenca

Try easy option cars I have used them quite a few times, cheap and reliable I have just paid €120 for 8 days including the insurance
