Hire Car

These guys are good - VIP Pilhor, small firm local to me. Most of their cars are lined up outside. They haven't had much business this year. In recent years we have found them to be very good value. They are in Pilar de la Horadada, but they do airport pickups etc.

Are you OK to be here for 6 months .... Residencia/TIE etc ?

Not trying to be a smart ass but are you a Spanish Residency holder? Because if not your 6 month stay will breach Residency regulations after 90 days.

For winter 2019/2020 we hired from Wiber car hire at the airport(they had great reviews) but they only do 4 week contracts which is quite common. Renewals can be made, but it was a hassle going back to the airport.

For the other 3 months we hired from H & R in La Fuente, Tel 0044 7824485925 [email protected] at 250 Euros a month. Not the newest of cars, but basically suited us as when we received the car the condition of the car was signed off as ‘various scratches’. So we stopped worrying about scratches while we rented from him. On return he just gave the car a cursory glance. All fully legal.

He also does reasonable priced airport pick ups and drop offs.

If you dont mind me asking, how come you cant buy a car? Just because the cost of renting for 6months would probably be alot more buying. And atm people are so desperate for money they are selling their cars at a fraction of the price
