Speeding fine- not my car

    I have visited the Guardia Civil to try and sort it out, but they have told me that as it’s not my car or the person it’s registered to, to ignore it as it’s not my problem. 
   I am a little concerned as the mail (several letters now) keep coming to my address. 
     Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated. I am happy to ignore the letters, but don’t want any repercussions.

The car is not mine and the driver who the letter is addressed to does not live or has ever lived in my house. It sounds like an admin error.
