We are coming to torrevieja on the 9th October ,can anyone tell us a bit more about the valencia day also I assume that mercadonna will be shut but will the smaller supermarkets be open .

Hola I think this year under the new laws most places will.be closed some very small  shops  may open until 2 PM.

The garages will sell bread and milk Cepsa garages all have a small Carrefour attached and stock  all the basics. Have a good journey.

Thanks for your reply ..we accidently booked the same week last year and saw the evening fiesta at the ferria ground I have looked online but can't find any details about the events of the celebration ..but I seem to remember that the restaurants and bars were very busy that day
