I asked if anyone was interested in setting up an International Dining Club here and didn’t get even one reply. I wanted to do something like the International Women’s Group which is worldwide. Seems as though most people in this area aren’t interested in cultural activities.

I would be interested in a women’s club.

Interesting places and dining all await to be discovered!

My husband and I are just retired. Looking forward to meeting up with a Wee club to enjoy new discoveries.   Keep me informed about future  get togethers!  Just bought a house in San Miguel. Arrive there on the 15th March.  Can’t wait!

Hi sorry for late reply I am currently back in the UK for family medical emergency.

I should be back on the 4th March.

The dates for the first ladies coffee morning I would like to suggest is Wednesday 14th or Wednesday 21st March at Hamilton's bakery in Benijofar, they do great coffees and fabulous cakes.

Let me know if these dates suit anyone?

Thank you for your reply. Will Google the location.

There seems to be a shortgage of ladies coffee mornings in this area.

If there was enough interest perhaps this is something that could be set up.

Any thoughts from you or others?

There are Tuesday excerise by the beach and all the ladies have coffee afterwards next door to the Belgian Cafe near the crystal shop.  I think it is every Tuesday.

There is also a Spanish learning group that meet there and all stay and chat after the lesson.

Not sure what the difference is between coffee mornings and social groups so I apologise if not in the right area.

There is also the Phoenix Cub, and www.meetup.com, walking groups and everything imaginable.

There is even a knitting group that meet in the Marinasol Cafe/Restaurant in Campoamor.

When you are out and about ask people as we do all like to help.

Hamiltons have excellent coffee and cakes so yes would love to meet.

If easier perhaps a Facebook page. Would be happy to set one up for you and put you as admin?  email me at [email protected]  if you would like any help.
