This post that was quoted has been deleted.
Shannon Irish Bar Conquerti in Altos de Limonar, Bake and Butty cafe 10 minutes from Habernasa
Irish Abbey Bar St James Gate in Torreta Flordia, 5 minutes from Habernasa
There plenty more in the area
Lots in Benidorm! Or a bit closer on the Vistabella Golf urbanisation.

I find it quite incredible that a post asking for English speaking bars/cafes has descended into this - what appears to be just a torrent of "Feck off back to England".
Sure, I think the question could have potentially been phrased slightly differently as saying "don't like it" or similar is clearly likely to get people's backs up.
But while the area isn't one I'm massively familiar with albeit I have cycled through and around that area, I'm sure there are plenty of bars on the urbanisations around there that are frequented by Brits even if the owners may not necessarily be British themselves.
I think it would be a lot better if some of you simply shut up and didn't post as opposed to posting snide comments that don't offer any assistance of any form whatsoever.

Apologies for the rude and unhelpful replies. This forum is open to all, and any questions can be asked about Spain. We will ban these members who are behaving in this way.

I agree. I'm sure the comment ''don't like it'' refers to the area the poster is staying in. Nothing to do with the Torrevieja or Spain as a whole. If he/she has only just arrived, then they are asking where they can go to improve their time here. They are here in an area they not happy with for a month, can't think of anything worse. I think we have all booked a holiday in an area we don't know and had to try to find placed to go. I personally booked a holiday in Tunisia 20 years ago, guess what, I didn't like it as everything was in the hotels or organised trips. No doubt it's better now but that was my experience at the time.
