Well as you've limited your post to one sentence with no information about you, where you live, what you are interested in, hobbies etc. I suggest you just go into the town and chat to people, open a conversation........At the bus stop, on the bus, in a cafe , bar, shop, at the beach, you will find many people who speak English ( not all from UK) but friendly & helpful & it's a nice addition to your day.
Not everyone will want to chat but will answer your questions if you ask something. If you make the effort, & are outgoing, others will make an effort back ---it worked for me, when I came to live here 20yrs ago ,I knew no-one.
